Baba Harbhajan Singh (1946-1968), also known as the "Hero of Nathula," was a Sepoy in the Indian Army who died in 1968 near the Nathu La Pass on the Indo-China border in Sikkim. It is believed that his spirit protects the soldiers in the region and has even saved many lives during wars and natural calamities. A shrine dedicated to him has been built near the Nathu La Pass and is visited by thousands of people, including army personnel, each year to pay tribute to his spirit and seek his blessings. Baba Harbhajan Singh is revered as a symbol of bravery, patriotism, and selfless service.
